Kristine is currently in her final semester at CSU, Chico, and will be graduating this Spring 2016 with a B.S. degree in Health Science. Throughout her student career at Chico State, Kristine has pursued her interest in promoting and exploring a healthy lifestyle through her work with Cal Fresh Outreach, Butte Home Health & Hospice, and through her travels to Tanzania, Africa to work alongside local Iringa, Tanzania doctors and nurses. During her time at Chico State, Kristine also led fellow students and community members on outdoor recreational trips as staff of the Adventure Outings program, and this is where her passion for the outdoors truly began to grow. Now Kristine hopes to pursue a career in bettering the health of youth by re-connecting them with nature through outdoor and environmental involvement.
